Are you excited??? Happy??? Sad??? Anxious??? It's not yet 12am but the fireworks can be heard everywhere. Oh my goodness, those loud 'explosion' really gonna give me a heart attack~!!!

Well, another hour to welcome the Rabbit year....~!!!! The streets are packed with people and jammed with cars. Pubs and discos are getting ready for party-ing. Facebook is full with friends' wishes. Everyone is excited to celebrate the new year...~ Is time to forget the past and to welcome a new year, a new beginning with a new resolution.

Is it because of my age? or is it because of my dear is not here? I rather staying at home, being a nerd instead of going out there to party-ing and countdown with the crowd. A lot of things I need to take into consideration. I need to get my beauty sleep. I need to watch out my diet. I need to be conscious about my health. So no beer, no smoke, no loud beat of music and no late night out for me. In that case, it is wise for me to stay at home then....Hmph~!!

Anyway, cut all the crap. I, hereby, sincerely wish you guys all the best in the new year and last but not least, a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Cheerrssss~!!

Thinking of changing a new template and design for my blog.
I had choose the design template but when it came to adjust the font and its color, I gave up.
It was way too troublesome and took up a lot of time to find a suitable font color in order to match the template.
So it was better to hit the sack then...~

Another 3 days to .... a new year~!!! Not counting the days to the new year but looking forward to the coming public holiday so that I can sleep in late and resting my brain. ^.^

-KOrean BBQ-

By the name of it, you sure will guess that it served Korean dishes. Well, you are absolutely right about that. It does served Korean dishes but is not 100% or pure Korean dishes. The restaurant is actually served mixture of Korean, western, asian and local food. Don't worry about the mixture. It only makes the menu more variety and the main concern is the taste. You can be assured that the food does taste good with a reasonable price. So this restaurant is always crowded and becomes a favourite spot for dining.

This year Christmas, we decided not to go for the Hotels' buffet because..... first, the price was darn expensive and second, Christmas buffet food not really nice. And lastly, we did not want to abuse our stomach by stuffing all the food in there, hoping to earn the amount we had paid. That's a bad idea~!!!! I reserved a table at Korean BBQ which thankfully allowed us to order the menu instead of being "forced" to take up the so-called christmas set dinner.


This BBQ plate, I guessed, is a Korean dish then. My favourite meat, of course is a beef. Waiting patiently for the beef to cook. ^.^


After 10 minutes, here you goes...the beef was available for me to eat.


A-ha, this is my favourite dish and one of the veggies that I eat ~ Wherever I dined out, there must have this veggie - 'Paku Pakis fried with sambal belacan'. My dad said he really sick of eating this Paku Pakis and KangKung. Lolz~!! Why Kangkung?? Because if there is my younger brother, then he always ordered Kangkung with sambal belacan. So we always 'fight' to see who order first. Orh, this veggie is the asian and local dish. Only Sarawak has Paku Pakis, I think.




Seafood Pancake. A korean dish too, perhaps~


Cheese Mussels. Western?? Should be.


Sizzling Lamb Chop. Definitely western but I didn't fancy the lamb. Got the "lamb" smell and there was lamb bones.


Sambal Squid. Local dish as well. Love this spicy and sour taste. ^.^


Bi Bim Bap. A korean rice mixed with kim chi, beef, egg and bean sprouts. I heard that Koreanespecially the poor like to mix their rice with the left over side dishes and guess what, it does taste good~!!!

Gained 0.5kg after this meal!!! @.@

I was having a lonely Christmas this year.....~
But celebrated with family and relatives. Had a peaceful and simple Christmas day. Aside from going to church and went for a movie with cousin, I stayed at home watching my T-drama and D.I.Y for my hair coloring as well.....!

I came across this brand, Liese for hair coloring which I found it quite interesting because it was different from the other hair coloring's brand. What's the difference? Liese is a bubble foam hair coloring which make the d.i.y. easier and colored the hairs evenly. It attracted me in the first place because it is a Japan product and secondly, I like their colors. I had a difficulty to choose the color I want. A lot of things need to be taken into consideration since I got a grey hairs. So at the end, I decided to try Chiffon Beige first.

After waiting for an hour, finally I could see the result..... Hmmmm not bad, acceptable. I like the color came out. A bit light copper brown. Too bad that it can't covered my grey hairs .... evenly and completely. So this product is really not advisable for covering grey hairs.

Anyway, this product is convenience and suitable for those who does not have grey hairs problem. The color is pretty so don't worry about that. Another good thing about Liese is their nourishing lotion which to apply on the hairs after dry your hairs. It really makes the hairs look soft, smooth and natural.

I believed that I will continue using Liese for my d.i.y hair coloring~... Hope that this color will last long till ... cny perhaps! ^.^

There's a devil staying inside me too, busy fighting with an angel side of me. I believed that the angel always win. Looked at me, I am still the good girl with no bad records. I am still clean and affirmed to my principle for not making myself look like a clown in the public (I mean getting drunk~). There's still a cute smile on my face instead of the devilish smile. My affirmation in principles and personality of perfection make me won't do anything crazy in the public or let anything/anyone to hurt my pride ..... unless I am really going nuts ~

But sometimes....sometimes I really felt tired with myself and have a thought of doing something crazy and out of my own expectation. I am looking for a change. That's why I am still struggling between the Light and the Darkness!!! Good girl? Bad girl?? .... Is that my new resolution??? No idea....~ ^.^

-Secret GardeN-

What I like about this restaurant??? First, I like the restaurant's name, Secret Garden. Sounds secretive. Second, I like the ambience and its interior design. It divided into 2 parts; one for diners and one for the beer drinkers. Something like a pub with a high table and a high sofa stools. So the environment is pretty comfortable. No loud disco music and it's an open air for smokers.

The menu, however, is something I am not fancy of. It served western cuisine with a limited choices. The price, of course, not cheap either. Anyway, a nice place to hang out with friends....~!!

Christmas Trees decoration competition has became part of the town's event for each year Christmas. This year Christmas decor are so so only. Not that pretty.....but it sure has attracted the crowd to capture photos and brighten the town. Anyway, this Christmas decor has successfully brought the christmas atmosphere to this boring town so I quite like the idea....~ ^.^

-New Resolution fOr 2011-

2011 is just a couple of weeks away and most probably, conversations are revolving around vacation plans, get-togethers with family and friends, shopping and all sorts of merriment. Shopping malls were bustles with bargains galore.

While the Companies are busy reviewing and preparing their year end financial result/inventory and balances the books, and newspapers and magazines do splashy layouts and short summaries for the whole year. Even TV reviews the year that was in vivid montages and does a recap of the year. But have we assessing and reflecting how we've done this year??? Have you start setting new resolutions for the new year??

Okay, now take a few minutes to look at both your personal and professional lives with honest eyes. Review the highs and the lows, the successes and the failures, as truthfully as you can so that you'll know how to make the next year work better for you. Are you still struggling? Are you happy?? Do you feel stuck in a rut??

Reflecting my own life, it was quite simple with everyday's routine - Sleep, Eat and Work. Anyway, I didn't set any new resolution for the coming year. I don't want myself to plan ahead first. Based on my past experiences, I would go berserk when my plan didn't run as planned. Berserk???!!! Okay lar, not berserk but feeling imbalanced. Just run through the test on control freak and shamefully to admit that I scored 68% so it means I am pretty major control freak without realizing it. Oooppsss....~

Alright, although no new resolution, I do have another list of targets with short term goals such as lose weight (I believed that this is going to be every girls' target for each year!), and if possible, travelling to more places. Make life easier when you are not holding on something tightly....~

-Masland Church-

Introducing my town's beautiful church, Masland Church which I am going every Sunday for praying to find harmony and peace in my soul.

The authorities listed it as one of the tourism spot in town due to its history and in remembrance of Hoover so the place was named after him. Who was he??? I have no idea. If not mistaken, he was the first priest to preach in town?? Hmmm. No idea. I am just simply guess.


Spend millions for the renovation and the interior of the church is pretty and big. I even dream and hope that I could walk down the aisle in this church. But due to certain circumstances, I have to give up the thought and I am going to regret for the rest of my life.....It's every girls' dream to walk down the aisle!!! Siggghhhh~

My fault for not understanding their terms or rules in the first place before the registration.

A kampua but not kampua mee. I don't eat Kampua mee, remember??? So I changed it to Kway Tiau with soy sauce, chilli and vinegar. Very fattening??? Ya, I know....but I only ate that once in a blue moon~ ^.^

Self-conscious of your body odour?? Feeling awkward and lack of confidence when in public???

Well, then it's time for you to get a PERFUME or FRAGRANCE!!! Now go to the perfume corner and try or smell every brand of perfumes to find a suitable fragrance for yourself and for the environment that you are in. Since the Christmas is just around the corner, I believed there are lots of promotion or sales on perfume set going on at shopping malls. It's definitely the best time to buy a perfume set with lots of free gift for yourself or as a gift for your love one, family and friends.

Okay, I am not sticking to one brand of perfumes or preferably any specific brand. I like to try something new so the smell of fragrance is my priority. Putting on perfume is a polite gesture especially when you are working in a big corporate or on a date. Of course, I didn't mean you to put on the strong fragrances which will killed the flies or those unbearable smell for the people around you! So it is wise and vital for you to try or smell first before you buy!!


CK Eternity and CK Crave. I preferably CK Crave because can wear it for casual outing, sports and work while CK Eternity fragrance is floral yet a bit strong which is more suitable for dinner and work. I had put CK Eternity there for ages and finally, I found a suitable environment to wear it. See, it's going to finish soon...~


Ralph Lauren - I like it in my young age but now I think it is too "sweet" for me. So I only put on this fragrance for fun or shopping. DKNY Apple - My favourite when it just launched but after putting there for years, its smell has changed a little bit. Anyway, I put on occassionally for work on Saturday and when I went for window-shopping.


Next - All the way from United Kingdom. The fragrances would not last long, maybe around 2 hours so occassionally put it on. Others are a free gift.


Anna Sui, Rock Me! - My favourite at the moment. I would wear it on Saturday night out, dinner and for some special function as well. Elizabeth Arden - Green Tea and Clinique.


CK IN2U is a fresh floriental with notes of redcurrant leaves, sicillian bergammot, pink grapefruit fizz, sugar orchid, white cactus, red cedar, neon amber and vanilla souffle. Phew, what a long list of ingredients~!!! I like this fragrance. Suitable for casual and a night out with friends.

Now I hope that Mr. Santa Claus will get me a Burberry The Beat as my Christmas gift......~!!! I have prepared a Big Christmas Sock hanging at the door there...~ Lolz ^.^

What did you have for lunch today?? Or should I say Brunch??? For the youngsters nowadays after the late hours of partying and clubbing, they would not woke up early on Sunday morning.

I was no longer went for partying or clubbing. I am more settling down and be a goody home girl. Think of that, I realized I didn't clubbing a lot either during my "blossom" years. Even though I didn't clubbing till the wee hours, but I also stayed out late watching drama or playing online games. Is not a healthy habit....~

I got to rise up early on Sunday morning to attend the church mass. My mum definitely forced me to wake up and attend the church mass or else she's gonna nagged me for hours there. What I liked most on Sunday morning after the church mass???? Of course, went for our brunch~!!!! Normally I took my breakfast and lunch one-go on Sunday so it's a brunch. Again, it's not a healthy habit either...~!!

We took our brunch at Noodle House today. Sounds familiar??? Yeah, I like to go to Noodle House for my meal because it has my favourite, Beef Noodle Soup. Anyway, the owners (who are actually same age with me and my coursemate previously) of Noodle House came out with this innovative ideas by mixing the traditional mee/kampua mee with other ingredients and made them into a specialty noodles. One of their specialty noodles is Sizzling Kampua with Beef or Calamari. Look at them, so successful at such young age!! Look at me again.......only know how to eat and sleep~ \(^.^)/ Lolzzz...~!! Sigh....(@.@)

-SugarBun-

Sugarbun is one of the leading fast food restaurant in East Malaysia just like KFC, Burger King, McDonald and etc. However, I personally think that Sugarbun is more famous and well-accepted in Sarawak region although it had tried to expand to West Malaysia. I found that its expansion plan to the West was not that flourishing.....~

Anyway, the menu is quite simple with the combination of western and asian cuisine. As for the western cuisine, it will be the broasted chicken, fish fillet and burgers while asian cuisine is asam fish head, chicken mushroom soup, curry chicken which all came with rice. Well, don't compared its chicken or burger with KFC's chicken and McDonald's burger BUT it does has its own specialty such as fish fillet burger, rice with chicken (comes with spicy or bbq sauce), hot dog burger and cheese burger - the top selling menu.


I am not sure about the other towns in Sarawak, but here in Sibu, they like Sugarbun a lots. It always crowded with families and youngsters for dine-in or takeout especially lunch or supper hours. I had taken a photo of my take-away Beef HotDog Burger. This is not the normal hotdog. The hotdog is big and with the mayonnaise on top, it really tastes good ~!!! Does it looks scrumptious???? Want to grab a bite??? ^.^
