Immortals
Immortals. Hmmmm. I am still thinking of what to write for my review on this movie. Something similar to 300, the movie. Crap! Of course it looks similar to 300 because same producers what~ The plot is about a mortal man, Theseus chosen by the Zeus to fight against the ruthless king, Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) who is on a rampage across Greece to obtain the bow that can unleash the Titans and destroy humanity. The story ends. So there are lots of macho men, nicely build and tone body (drooling~). What I liked most in the movie is their God, Zeus and its other Goddess like Athena, Poseidon, Heracles and etc. They looked so cool! Wait, guess there is a sequel for this movie too. The story will be talking about Acamas, son of Theseus and Oracle.
Well, as guessed, all the "sexy", flesh and bloody disgusting parts were censored in the cinema. So yeah, you don’t get the chance to see all that juicy parts but still there are blood, fighting and heads flying off scenes. For female viewers, we can still enjoy the man’s tone body in the movie and sorry for the male viewers as there are no pretty ladies in it except Freida Pinto. I personally think that she is not pretty. Hmmm.
So the movie is either too good or too bad. It just hang somewhere in the middle. It lacks of something which I can’t find out what is it or where is it. The first half session is kinda boring, I would say. Just watch it when you really can’t find any good or blockbuster movie on the list.
Additional note which is unrelated to Immortals. I saw the trailer of Twilight: Breaking Dawn part 1. OMG, it looks so good and interesting! I am anticipated for its screening.

Niece's Birthday Celebration Dinner
Again, my same old favourite phrase. Time flies. Eugenia has grown up so much. All of a sudden, I miss her baby look and the way she crawls or looking at me innocently with her big round eyes. Now she is getting very naughty and keeps running here and there. Seriously, I was attacked by her numerous times. I should claim the medical fees from my brother. Her daughter is way too naughty and tricky! But still looks adorable at times and she’s very clever. When she knows that we are angry with her, she will pretend to be an adorable girl and call us with her sweet and innocent tone. She never fails to get what she demands. Kids nowadays….~
My family and I do admit that we show less affection towards the second born. After all, Eugenia is the first born baby and grandchild in our family so it’s normal that we adore her more in the first place. Now I understand why they will say the characteristic/personality for the first born, second born or middle child and the youngest one are different. I was a second born too but because the first born is my brother so I believe my grandparents and parents love us both that time. One boy and one girl. Balance gender in the family. So did my two younger brothers. There is 4-5 years old age gap between me and them. They are lucky to have brother and sister to adore them as well!
Alright, back to the topic. We were having dinner at Kingwood Hotel, one of the reputable hotels in this small town. The dishes look yummy except that there are number of dishes I couldn’t consume due to my sickness. Some quick snapshot of the dishes (sorry for the poor quality) as they are too eager to eat and couldn’t wait for me to finish my photos snapping.

My Top 5 Most Visited Websites
Come on, admit it. I do it, you do it. Everyone is doing it. We all feel sluggish in the early morning and when sit in front of the office desk. We need to surf around to jumpstart the mind again. My top 5 websites that are most visited during work hours are…..drum rolllllll…..ta dah~
Hotmail

I need to check mail everyday, whether there is a mail or not.
Blogger Page

The Star

This is a necessarily and a must read to know what is going on around me and the world out there especially the celebrity news.
Online store/Blogshop
Ermm. This may sound unnecessarily but I need an update whether there are new clothes or new style coming in today and everyday. It gradually becomes a daily routine to check out these things and then I will waste my $$$ on it. Get cheated...willingly! =.=
I believe everyone will be checking out their FB. It also becomes a daily routine to log in my FB and play my Sim Social. Tsk Tsk Tsk. (Shake head)Is a multi-tasking job. I will surf around while working. It seriously did not affect my work productivity and efficiency. Again, I insisted that it does not divert my attention from work and I have my own time arrangement and see, I am an organize person so I am clear on what I am doing. In fact, I find it quite enjoyable to work like this. At least, it does not bore me to keep on concentrate on my work, typing, and writing report. So I really can’t stand to have a server down or no internet connection during working hours. It will drive me nuts and reduce my work productivity. No mood to work. No kidding!
Sssshhhhh. Shouldn’t let my boss read this or else I …………. can pack my things and go home!

Pet Peeves
Do you have any pet peeves? This is my first time came across the words (Excuse my poor english~). My definition of pet peeve is something or someone annoyed you to the max, disgusted you or until you puke blood (fake action). Okay, getting serious. According to the online dictionary, pet peeve is defined as a major or principal annoyance or complaint. It’s similar to my definition also what~
The followings are the list of my pet peeves which really get on my nerve (Warning: It’s a long list!):
· Someone standing over my shoulder reading the computer screen. If that person is a friend or someone close to me, I am still alright with it. But the boss from my previous employment is standing right over my shoulder looking at the paper work on my desk or computer screen and he is so close to me till I can feel/smell his breath on top of my head. Now that really makes me feel uncomfortable. In another serious word, that’s called sexual harassment.
· Ah Beng and Ah Lian. I am not trying to pin point that people shall dress up like a fashionista but at least in an appropriate way and looks pleasant or comfortable to the eyes. I really dislike guys who are dragging their foot jeans on the floor and girls who try to dress up like an adult while they are still bubbly young teens or imitating the Japanese street fashion which goes wrong. The way they talk and their attitudes also annoyed me. They like to talk loudly, laugh loudly, act childishly, boasting and adding foul words in their every lines regardless of the time, place and situation. Do I sound bias? Hopefully not.
· People who sit next to me on public transportation even when there are other seats available. I just don’t understand why there are so many seats available but you still want to sit next to me and our shoulders keep kissing. If you are a girl, I can still bear with it. But if you are a guy (not a handsome hunk or my friend) and with a body odour, then very sorry. Can you please move over?
· Guys never flush the toilet after use and leave the toilet seat up. Come on! I bet all the female out there agree with me on this. If possible, I try to avoid going to public toilet. It’s so damn smelly and dirty.
· Jerks who take up 2 parking spaces. Hello! Be more considerate lar. Unless your car is super super big size and it needs 2 parking spaces then I won’t comment any on it. If there are many empty parking spaces, then alright, I also won’t complain.
· Women who wear a thick make up. That’s look horrible with an extremely thick, white powder on the face, red lips, dark shadow eyes and a long, thick fake eyelashes batting there. Unless you dress up for some Halloween party or you are a geisha. A light and simple make up will look nice and pretty already.
· People with body odour or putting on a strong smelly perfume. It’s air pollution.
· People who invite me to somewhere then cancel at the last minute. This really annoyed me unless you have a very good reason to cancel the appointment. I am a busy man as well and besides, you are wasting my time. Because of that appointment, I am blocking the time slot just to meet you but you are cancelling it at the last minute without any good reason.
· Do you understand what I am saying? Oh my goodness. I am going to tell you my experience with a cab driver when I was in Taiwan. This uncle, okay, he is friendly, BUT he tormented me persistently with his ‘Do you understand what I am saying?’ on the whole way to Jiufen (if not wrong, it's around 20-30 minutes drive). I didn’t know how many times he repeated the words and my head really felt dizzy for hearing his talk. I just want to shout at his face saying that 'YES, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!!' He’s actually trying to persuade us to take up his ‘cab travel package’ which brings us to the place of attractions along the way for some photos snapping. We had politely declined the offer and just told him to drive us to Jiufen instead. But he won’t give up and kept on explaining with every sentences ended with ‘Do you understand what I am saying?’. He charged us so expensive for the cab ride. Even we had to pay NT900 for the cab ride from Yehliu to Jiufen. We felt cheated. It’s so damn EXPENSIVE for a short distance ride!
· People with bad table manners. I am not talking about those traditional Kopitiam. More likely indicating those decent restaurants with an expensive menu.
· Drivers who drive slowly on the fast lane, and move slowly at the green lights and the motorbikes ride in the middle of the road. For your own and other people's safety, please lar, try to follow what you read or learn during your law/driving test. If intend to drive slowly, then move to the left and motorbikes also don’t ride in the middle of the road or on the fast lane. People who drive fast or didn’t see you might knock you down and then whose fault is it. The traffic is quite jammed with cars in a long queue but those drivers still move slowly at the green light like no other people business. #%$*@#$!% (*puke blood*)
· People belch without covering their mouth. That’s very impolite to belch without covering the mouth or excusing themselves. The sound of belching and especially long burp quite annoyed me. My dear always burp in front of me and is a long burp which really annoyed me to the max. I have told him numerous times to stop doing that but he thinks that it is fun. This totally deducted mark on my impression on him. He seems not understand this whole impression mark thing because he thought that we are together for so long already and that’s not a big deal anymore. Sigh. *Guys only leave a good impression on girls during the wooing period, once you are belong to him, he’ll shows you all his fugly habit and dirty lifestyle*
· Typical Malaysian’s habit to cut other people’s queue and continue pretend like nothing’s wrong. Don’t you hate this especially when it is a long queue? They are not even asking your permission to cut your queue. If you are a senior citizen, I mean real old, I understand and forgive you. We are all a busy man and rushing with time as well so not only you frustrate with the long queue. One thing I like about Taiwanese is they really queue up whether they are paying at the counter, waiting for the MRT, getting in the bus and etc.
Alright, you must be bored reading my list of pet peeves. Wait, it's not end yet. I'm still have a long list on hand but in order not to make my list of pet peeves become your pet peeve, I shall stop here. LOLZ. Anyway, what’s yours?

I am practising my chinese writing. My pin yin still quite poor. Some of the words I can't remember its pin yin and didn't know how to read.
It's actually about a relationship that had broken up. Not mine. Someone close to me had broke up recently. I felt quite pity for their relationship to be so easily broke up. They are such a sweet couple and look compatible. But relationship thing is really hard to say sometimes.
Okay, translation of my thought. I was saying that once two strangers met and fell in love. Then from strangers become a lover and a family. They were once so in love and having lots of dreams together, promise to build a future together. And when the heart is no longer beating for you, everything become meaningless. Once a lover and a family become a familiar stranger again. They go on a different path. After few years when meet again, they are just a 'nod' acquaintance or totally a stranger.
Don't you think that all this relationship 'chemistry' thingy very unique? It's like an unexplainable theory. It pulls two strangers together and the bond between them is getting stronger as days passed. It took longer time to build the relationship but once the chemistry gone, the string that tied two person together also getting loose or just snap off with a brisk. They gradually become a stranger in each other's life again.
-Shi Fen-
I couldn't remember the name of the station, should be Rueifang Station, if not mistaken. We took the train from there and get off at Shi Fen station. Shi Fen is a small town and popular with its sky lantern. So in every shops there you will see the local people will selling the small lantern which is quite expensive, NT100 per piece. If you are lucky, you might get a NT90 per piece. I like this small town and its rail road. Very nolstagia feel and nice scenery for photo snapping. Many tourists came here to set the sky lantern that allows you to write your wishes on it. We didn't set the sky lantern. I didn't have any wishes and besides, to set one sky lantern also cost dearly.
The small sky lantern looks really cute and it's an ideal souvenir for your family and friends.Sunday, September 25, 2011
-Happy Birthday!-
I was flipping through the old photos today. All the memories came flashing back to me. They reminded me of all the good times I had during high school and college years. There were once we were so close (I mean, my friends) and always hang out together, gossiping and laugh. Those days were always full of laughter. Now some of them we had lost contact and everyone is busy with their own life. We were falling apart as the time passed. I missed those days where we could talk about anything and always be there for each other. We could talk on the phone for hours. I missed those days.
Alright, stopped all those memories talk. One thing I realized was I was so fugly that time. I looked so naïve and innocent. Not to mention, my fashion sense. It was so so so unacceptable although now I couldn’t confidently say that my fashion sense is trendy. But at least has some improvement larrr. I couldn’t believe that I could wear those clothes and thought that it was pretty in those days. Oh my goodness! Looked at those skirt I wore. It's so long and over my knee. Looked at that shirt. It was so ugly. HOWEVER, I had a very good skin and slimmer that time. I didn't have pimples. I was so petite and ..... small in size.
Okie. Enough for all those ‘depressing’ talk. Happy Birthday to Myself!!! ^.^

-Organized Life a.k.a. Boring Life-

Oh yeah, I know my life sucks! But just bear with me for that one moment when I was in a paranoid state. Once the moment gone, I am back to normal but I still need the plan/schedule in my life as in telling me what should I do next. I felt comforted in that way. If there is no plan, I will lost my direction. Seriously! So life with me is boring and at times, might fed up as well. I guess that's normal. Who will not? Well, I'm still trying to loosen up and there's a slight improvement.

-New Beitou-
Oh my goodness, I was still blogging on my Taiwan’s trip. Lazy bug was attacking me again. Okay, next stop was Beitou. Needless to say, Beitou is famous for its spa and thermal valley. Actually, it should be New Beitou. So if you want to go for the spa and thermal valley, you have to get off at New Beitou station instead of Beitou station. New Beitou is a very quiet yet nice scenery neighborhood. Their library is using green concept and eco-friendly. There are variety of books and magazines. While amazed with their green library, I was wondering why my country or my town didn't have such an amazing library?! At least please update those books. Tsk tsk tsk.

-Conan The Barbarian-
I went to watch it during Raya holidays when both me and my dear had nothing to do in town. Well, the movie turned out quite entertaining. I like the movie despite of the unknown male lead actor. I have no idea who is he. The only celebrity I knew in that movie was Rose McGowan who potrayed as a witch in the film.

- TaiPei Zoo + MaoKOng -
Anyway, I was like a small kid, jumping up and down.....Wait, I didn't really jump but feeling excited? yes, I was. I was so excited to see the koala bear, Kangaroo, camel and of course, the cute panda. Seems like I never saw these animals before. Bingo! I never been to Australia or a desert out there to see the camel and kangaroo aside from the photos. But my dear was feeling bored and kept complaining because of the hot weather and the long walk. Couldn't blame him as his whole shirt was getting wet and he felt very uncomfortable in it.
After a cursory glance at those animals, we went to MaoKong. MaoKong is located near to Taipei Zoo, around 15 minutes walk. Both of us love the name of MaoKong. We first came across the name of Maokong was from Hiyawu's novel. So we were curious what's actually in store up there in Maokong since the name itself sounds very romantic. The cable car ride to MaoKong took longer than Genting's cable car. There are few stops on the way to uphill. Nothing interesting in MaoKong except tea tasting and scenery viewing. But many couples went there for dating. Maybe because of its romantic name and scenery, I guess.
Will I go there again? Nope. I hate the long hours cable car ride and long hours of MRT ride to Taipei Zoo station. We need to change the MRT routes and yeah, Taipei Zoo station is at the last stop. Please get off at Taipei Zoo station if you are going to MaoKong.

-Yeh Liu-
Yeh Liu Geopark is another attraction in Taiwan that you should pay a visit to. Why? Because of its great geological formation. It is famous for its stunning coastline, unusual rock formation, rolling hills and *drumroll* ...... the most recognizable landmark in Yeh Liu Geopark - the Queen Head's rock. Pardon me, I am not really interested in the whole formation process and geological. So it's better for you to visit there for a better understanding. I was amazed with those geological formation and of course, God's creation.

If you are going during summer time, that is between June - August, you MUST bring along your sunblock (strong UVA/UVB protection or high SPF) and umbrella. Trust me, the weather was scorching hot! Plus those sea breeze! I was getting so dark and sweat profusely there. But the breathtaking scenery really worth it all. Wait, it was also enlisted in the '100 places must visit' and heard the rumours saying that the Queen Head's neck is getting thinner and going to drop in another few years so better be fast to visit the Queen Head before its gone. They even made a fake Queen Head (you'll see the fake Queen Head in there too).

- Jiu Fen -
Walking down the old street is like walking down the memory lane. Bringing back all the old memories and nolstagia. Jiu Fen is known for its old street and shops, located at uphill. It’s a small ‘lorong’ with rows of shops on both sides. Then you need to climb up and down the stairs. You wouldn’t get lost in there because it is only one street and damn crowded with tourists. How do you know whether you have reached Jiu Fen or not? Easy, when you see the big crowd and a 7-11 convenience shop, then you are in the right place.
Jiu Fen is famous for its fish ball soup. Trust me, it’s really damn nice and if not because of the crowd, I might want to have another bowl. I like Jiu Fen and thinking of going there again but my dear said, “It’s damn far. Need to take bus and change bus again. It’s a tiring trip to Jiu Fen.” Okay, I agreed with him on this. So if you are first time travel to Taiwan, Jiu Fen is definitely one of the attractions that you should pay a visit to. Despite the big crowd, Jiu Fen is actually worth to go as it has lots of nice food to eat and things to shop. You can take pictures with the tradition style of shops and their old street which will give you a feeling of nostalgia.
Don't you think that spending an hour is enough in Jiu Fen? Wrong. It almost took us around 3 hours in Jiu Fen. You need more than 3 hours if want to explore in depth of Jiu Fen. We only managed to have a cursory glance at Jiu Fen.

- Taipei -
Is understandable if you say Taipei 101 is a landmark of Taiwan because it is widely known for its height and the lift is moving like a lightning, *puffffff* and there we were, in 89 floors! It took like 1 minute or 2 minutes to reach up there. Somemore, there’s a pretty Taiwanese girl whom they called them “Miss Lift” spoke in three different languages, Chinese, English and Japanese. I only know that there is a Miss Lift in Japan but surprisingly, Taiwan also have. Actually, there’s nothing fun or things to see up there except the view and experiencing the height. You need to pay around NT380 per person (if not wrong, I kind of forget the actual price) for a round trip up there so the most recommended time to go was at night where you can have a pretty night view of Taipei.
This damper is so damn cute!!! I want to bring one back home ~
Parliament Office!! Why I put an exclamation behind? Because we walked around 15 minutes to reach there and ……… took the photos of the building! That’s all. =.= My dear said the building looks so pretty and MUST visit there. I gave him double =.= look. But comforting myself, I happened to meet ‘Ma Yin Jiu’, the President of Taiwan. Actually, we didn’t meet him in person lar. Just saw his car and the escort cars drove into the Parliament Office. BUT I saw the President coming to work at such a late hour. Already past 9am! Tsk tsk tsk. *shaking my head* Lolzz. Okay lar, who is he after all? Even he is late, no one will complaint also.
I didn’t know the whole story of Chinese history. Just heard a bit of the stories here and there. Heard of their *BIG* names but didn’t really know who the heck are them. So we went to C.K.S. Memorial Hall to snap some photos and the sunset view. I only knew that the monument man sitting in there was someone great and famous in history. So I just continued my photos snapping and glad to meet three cute Japanese girls asking me to help them take photos. They couldn’t speak English and I couldn’t speak Japanese so we were like a mute person using hand signal. It was funny when I tried to speak English to them and they only understand one word of vocabulary in there. It was even funnier when they saw my ‘White Knight’ – Lumix GF-1. I understand their Japanese, ‘Sugoiiii dess ne’!!! *I added the last two words myself* That’s because they were using digital camera. But I was surprised with their reaction because Panasonic is a Japanese brand so they supposed to know or see Lumix GF-1 before instead of looking at my white knight like first time seeing it. Another thing surprised me; they didn’t want to take photos with the scenery behind. They just want me to zoom and focus on their faces only without the background scenery. I was like ‘huh’ and lots of ????? on my head.
Orh, the National Art Hall also located nearby of C.K.S. Memorial Hall. It is just beside of C.K.S. Memorial Hall. If you are taking MRT to C.K.S. Memorial Hall, you’ll see the building when you walked out of the MRT station. There you know that you are in the right place to go C.K.S. Memorial Hall.

-Hello Kitty Sweets-
The kids nowaday are so blissful. I saw many tables at Hello Kitty Sweets Restaurant, where the parents brought their kids there to celebrate birthday or just to make them happy. My first impression on this restaurant was "Okay, it is a hello kitty theme restaurant. *shrug* No big deal. Besides I am not a fan to hello kitty. The food might not taste good too. It is famous because of its decoration and a cat without mouth." And it had proven me wrong on the food part. The meal served not only looked so cute and pretty but it tasted GOOD too!!! Especially their cakes! So if you are travelling to Taiwan, you really got to visit to this Hello Kitty Sweets Restaurant. The girls will love it and the guys, hmmmm, will love it too when seeing so many cute, pinkish in there. lolz. The meal comes in a set, from appetizer, main course to dessert with free drink. Price?? Ranging from NT330 - NT600 per set.
I dropped by the restaurant twice. Yes, you heard me right. TWICE! I need to take the MRT back and forth. First time went there was around 11am and I thought "so early and the restaurant just open, so impossible to get crowd at this hour." I was wrong! =.= There's a queue at the entrance already. Most people had made their table reservation while we did not. We were not used to make table reservation at other country or when we were on travel. So I told my dear just give up and let's go. I didn't want to waste my time queuing. I am sort of impatience person.
Then after travel to other places and taking MRT back to Ximending, I turned to my dear and asked him, "Do you think we should try other theme restaurant since we are here? Because the whole trip wouldn't be perfect if we didn't go to theme restauarant in Taiwan." Okay, he agreed with me so we looked through the guide book to search for other theme restaurant located nearby. After few minutes discussion, my dear was getting impatient with my indecisive so he suggested to go back Hello Kitty Sweets see whether it was still crowded or not. I gave him so many 'possibilities' comments like "what if it was still crowded?" "what if the food not nice?" and continued what if what if what if there......"I didn't fancy Hello Kitty after all" He was kinda fed up and suggested other theme restaurant. And again, I continued my 'what if what if what if' there.....He tried to assure me that we could tried for one time and if it was really not up to expectation, then there won't be next time also. So after few moment of thinking, I said to him "Okay lor. We go to Hello Kitty then~ =)" He gave me this look, =.=lll .... I know he must be sworing at me inside his heart! Lolz *typical me again*
Thanks goodness. On our second visit, it was not crowded anymore and we only waited like 1 minute then being escorted to the table. Out of curiousity, I explored their ladies see whether it was decorated with Hello Kitty or not. Yes!! It is!! *Faint* So many hello kitties~ Everything was in pInk color! *Faint* Their spaghetti cabonara taste so good till I didn't want to give it back to my dear because he ordered it. My chocolate cake set also taste delicious! The total bill came out was around NT800++. Worth it, right? =))))) The waiters also being very friendly and helpful by helping their customers to take photos. But because of my exhausted and ugly face, I didn't took many photos with hello kitty~ That's sad!
