“Will I become an old virgin, died as an old virgin if I didn’t have a boyfriend a.k.a. fiancé right now?” A sudden thought strike me when I was showering last night. I shuddered when think of this question. Oh well, yes, I did think a lot of things when I showered. Sounds weird, huh!

The possibility is high since the circle of friends is getting smaller and currently, I only met people either from workplace or just an acquaintance. There’s no strong bond between us, unlike the friendship during high school or university. Furthermore, the guys I met now are either having a steady girlfriend or married. A big signboard of ‘UNAVAILABLE BUT SHORT TERM AFFAIR a.k.a FLIRTING IS FINE’ swayed in front of their chest. Alright, not all the guys are thinking like that but minority. So the chances to meet ‘The One’ are slim.

Let’s say 10% to meet the one who have a feeling for you and you have a good impression on him. Then add on another 10% to find the common interest and get along well. Another 10% to find adaptability with each other, communication and patience to make the relationship works. After dating for a few months or perhaps a year, well, another 10% to have the same goals and would want to bring the relationship to a serious relationship. The last 10% is to vow in front of the priest and walked down the aisle. So total added up is 50% to find Mr. Right. If less any 10% abovementioned, then possibility is either waits or died as an old virgin.

It’s getting harder to find a good looking bachelor when grow older. Those left are either have a personality problem or too old. Something must be wrong with them or else how come they didn’t have a girlfriend or married if they have a good condition, means, having a house, car, career and savings. IF they have such a good condition, I think they wouldn’t stand there in complete because all the girls out there are going to grab, snatch and tear them into pieces.

There is a limit to our girls’ youth. We couldn’t wait anymore. Or in a more appropriate way, our youth couldn’t wait us. As we grew old each year, the chances to get marry is getting less and less unless you are a freak - able to maintain the beauty, youth, ‘S’ figure and no wrinkles!

My point is phewww, luckily that I have a steady boyfriend a.k.a. fiancé already. You see, I became more introverted as I grew older plus my current environment and circle of friends; it is very, very, very hard to meet a guy. After work, I would stay at home and watched my soapy drama if there’s no close friends finding me out ‘yum cah’. Seeing my situation, how am I going to meet a guy (if I didn’t have a boyfriend a.k.a. fiancé now)? I am only dating with my drama and books. Oh no!!! I looked like a real nerd now, am I? Since when I have stopped partying and socializing?

No wonder people say the best times is during high school and college/university year to mix and meet new friends while get a boyfriend/girlfriend. See, so many couples are getting married after graduated. And see, all the good guys are taken and unavailable. So imagine the % to meet a good guy when you enter the working society. The first few years of working still might have a chance and high % but that % also get less and less as the time passed.

Then I felt comforted and shrugged off the thought. Because I have a steady boyfriend a.k.a. fiancé. Lolz, I know that I have reminded numerous times that I have a steady boyfriend a.k.a. fiancé! So conclusion is I would not be an old virgin!!

It's a ridiculous thought, I know. ^^

Hanamizuki (花水木) is actually a type of flower. Hmmm it looks like a sakura. Isn't it looks pretty with the pink petal?? Well, I am not talking about the flowers here.

Hanamizuki ('花水木') is a Japanese film based on 2004 pop song by You Hitoto. It is casted by Yui Aragaki (新垣結衣) and Toma Ikuta (生田斗真).

This film is telling a touching, romance story between two teenagers, Sae and Kouhei, whom they fell in love, having a long distance relationship and how they separated to pursue their dreams or facing the obstacles in life.

Sae hoped to enter Tokyo's university while Kouhei decided to stay at Hokkaido helping his father and followed his father's footsteps to become a fisherman. Kouhei had to let Sae left for Tokyo to pursue her dream even though his heart did not want to. But their love still remain strong until the incident that took Kouhei's father life and his family was in debt. Kouhei was forced to break up with Sae as he did not want to impede her dream/career. *Touching- sob sob*

After separated for years, they met at one friend's wedding and they still could not forget each other. The bond of love between them was still strong. But Kouhei has married. Seeing the situation, Sae decided to accept the proposal from another guy but unfortunately, the guy who proposed to her, died in an accident before she has a chance to tell him that she has accepted his proposal. On the other hand, Kouhei's wife knew that her husband still loves Sae so decided to call for divorce. Years passed. Destiny brought them back together again in Hokkaido.

It was so touching and sad! Tissue, please......~ *sob sob* Even though they separated for 10 years, they still loved each other and finally they could be together. Years of travelling and seeing the world out there, they decided it was time to come back to where they belong and that's where their fate started and continued.

If you are asking me a few years back whether I like yoga. I would answered firmly - No. Never think of it. Well, that was a few years back. After few attempts, I was intrigued by yoga. It was a love-hate situation. I love the sweating and body sculpting but I hate the muscle endurance and using lots of stamina. It left me breathless and muscle pain the next day.

Anyway, I went for the belly and cardio session mostly. Twice a week. It was a mixture of yoga and aerobic. I couldn't stand the long hours of doing pure yoga. All those slow move really made me fell asleep. I didn't have the patience.

At first, I was thinking of burning some fat and calories while sculpting my body line so that it won't look flabby. Well, now came to think of it, it also helps me to stay healthy, build my strength and improved my stamina physically and mentally. Some of the yoga postures were forbidded or uncomfortable for Christian because they seem like worshipping. You can skipped those postures if it made you feel uncomfortable. So far, I am fine with it and only skipped few uncomfortable postures. Don't underestimated yoga! All those slow motion move and stretching really made you sweat profusely and breathless. It was not an easy move!

Arrrggghhhh~
I am totally fed up with the waiting!!!
I can't stand it anymore!

At times, I was wondering why am I always the one waiting and is not people waiting for me...ever.
I didn't like to keep people waiting for me.
But why people always let me wait for them? Is it my problem?
I am the one always being left behind.
Did you see my lonely shadow when waiting for you?
Did you see my sad eyes when waiting for you?
Did you see my reluctant smile when waiting for you?
Even though I told you that it's okay.

All those waiting gradually made me a time conscious and lost my patience. That's why my emotion was like a roller coaster when you were late ... even just for a 10 minutes or anything that made me wait. You never understand my feeling. You never understand why am I so hate the waiting. You never understand why am I making a big fuss just because you are late. Because you never understand how is it feel to stand alone there waiting for hours. Because you never being left behind.

Even though I always say I hate waiting but you still keep me waiting and I .... still waiting for you. Even though I know you are not waiting there for me but I ... still waited for you here....idiotly.

-Beach BoutiQue Hotel, Phuket-

The Beach Boutique Hotel is located at Kata Beach, Phuket. Phuket has three main beaches namely Patong, Karon and Kata Beach. The difference between those beaches was Patong beach is more crowded where all the shops, restaurants and people gathered there while Karon beach is in the middle of Patong and Kata so that would likely explained the reason for fewer crowd and quiet surroundings at Kata beach. No worries. You can rent a motorbike or car and drove all the way to Patong which took approximately 10 minutes.

Okay, back to the Beach Boutique Hotel. I like this hotel very much. I think the exterior has a bit of modern English building style sense. The rooms are nicely decor and most importantly, clean and cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful as well although we had a communication barrier. They only understand simple English. We were communicating using hands. I paid RM285 for 3 nights included the American breakfast which we had a ham, omelette, hotdog, toast, egg and a choice of tea/coffee plus a glass of orange juice. However, the only disadvantage was we need to walk about 5 minutes to the beach. Like I said above, there were fewer crowds at Kata Beach so you don’t have to worry that you need to find a place for sun-bathing or kept bumping into people.

Because we went there during non-peak season, the hotel is not crowded as well. And I could have the whole swimming pool by myself. Ya, I didn’t know how to swim but I was splashing and trying to learn to swim there. I didn’t have to feel shy and awkward because there’s no one there. Not even a fly. Okay lar, occasionally the staff would walked past.

That is a restaurant opposite of the Beach Boutique Hotel. I didn't try the food there because afraid of its price that might cost dearly.

- IslaNds HopPing, PhuKet-

Phuket is definitely a perfect getaway as you can find a peace of mind at its other islands as well such as Phi Phi Island, Phang Nga Bay (James Bond Island), Similan Islands, Coral Island, Maya Bay and etc in the Andaman Sea.

Once you walked out the Arrival Hall, the local tours would swarming and beckoning you while trying to sell their packages. Well, the price was actually quite reasonable and they could be bargained. I opted for the Island Hopping and Phi Phi Island which costed me 1800 Baht per person included the snorkelling equipment, return land transfer from/to hotel to/from pier, boat tickets and lunch/drink. Was it cheap? No idea. Should be.


That's our 'Charter Boat'. The boat price is expensive if you choose speedboat to those islands but time-saving. If took ferry, well, it's cheaper of course but wasting time. So with the price I paid was neither speedboat nor ferry, it was the charter boat. Not private but we went in a group of 10 person.


Off we went to the islands.



See the crystal clear sea water? That's where we snorkeled. I had a bad experience here. Sigh. I felt so excited to see the blue, green crystal sea water that I didn't think twice and jump into the water assuming that I was safe with my life-jacket. It was a bad move! I nearly drowned. I didn't know how to swim. Anyway, it's such a long story but I have learned my lesson.




We came to this island where a lot of monkeys staying there. Better be careful with your belongings especially camera when you reached this island. Our tour guide was trying to lure the monkey with bananas so that we could had a closer look at the monkey.



Phi Phi Island - it's a small island. We had our free buffet lunch at the canteen there. Well, since it's free so do not expected that they would served delicious meals. Nothing much to do there, just strolling along the beach, swimming, taking photos and sun-bathing.



We had a stopover at this small island (I forgot the name) for sun-bathing and resting while snorkelling.

-PhUket, Thailand (Part 1)-

I would like to post a brief introduction of Phuket, Thailand from my previous vacation there. That was 2 years ago, if not mistaken. Ya, I knew it had been quite a long time.



But the breathtaking picturesque scenery, beautiful blue sky, crystal clear sea water, sandy beach, sea breeze, their local culture and unforgettable memories there, nudged me to post on it. Needless to say, Phuket is well-known for its pretty scenery, spa, and sandy beach. I would say it was really an ideal place to spend your holiday if you are seeking for a relaxed, slow pace holiday and escaped from the hustle bustle city or shopping nightmares, not to mention the lovey-dovey couples on their honeymoon. It was even more fun if goes with a bunch of good friends. The local people are friendly and greeting you along the street, maybe because they are influenced by the foreigners' open minded culture. You won't feel that you are in Thailand because you get to see the foreigners everywhere and every corner...seriously!


Well, there’s a lot of entertainment besides the sandy beach. They have a night life as well – you’ll find a street called Bangla Road where a row of pubs and discos waiting for you. What’s famous in Thailand?? Of course, their temples! If you are not interested in temples, then you can skip that. ‘Wat Chalong’ is one of the temples in Phuket.



That was the Big Buddha - the time I went, it was still under construction so I believed it had completed now. From there, you can have a full view of Phuket town.

Aside from their famous temples, they are famous in another thing as well – that is, their ‘transsexual show’ or whatsoever shows. I went to watch ‘Simon Cabaret’, a transsexual show for the first time and I think it was going to be my last because I found it quite bored except the whooaa and aahhh there, admiring their nice curves and fair skin. Hate to admit but they looked prettier than a real woman. Anyway, it was quite a memorable experience if you are first timer to this kind of show. There are other shows offered but I skipped. Not interested and the entry tickets cost dearly too.


Among all the transsexuals, I think she looks pretty and sweet. The girl standing beside her was a stranger. I didn't know her. I was actually trying to capture the photo of transsexual.... secretly! Because you need to pay 500 Baht, if not wrong, to take photos with them.


See, I looked so tiny and short standing beside them! Did you see that my body was stiff?? Because I was terrified!! Why?? No idea and no reason. I was forced by my dear to take photos with them. *sigh*


The ‘Promthep’ or also known as Phuket Viewpoint has beautiful scenery for photos snapping. You can go in the evening to watch the sunset. Other activities such as sightseeing to Phuket town, shopping and trying out their local food shouldn't be excluded from the itinerary. Their things are cheap and some more can bargain for a good price. Only their street stalls, not in those shopping complexes!


Okay. I should stopped rambling here. I didn't take much photos on food. Blamed on our growling stomaches! Their tom yam, green curry, red curry, papaya salad and fried cashew with prawns or squid were the dishes that you shouldn't miss out!
