-Messy Wardrobe!-

We girls have a little secret that we never ever want to disclose to guys. Not even a peek is allowed.

Did I arouse your curiosity? Heh, I bet I did. It was actually our messy wardrobe. Chehhhhh~ I know I know. Wait, it’s true that we never ever want to let our man or any guy to take a peek at our messy wardrobe because it was really very very very messy till we need to ‘dig’ in the heaps of clothes just to search for one cloth. Scary, huh!

I hate cleaning up my wardrobe. I think that is the most dreadful house chores. It is so much fun when shopping and buying but when it comes to spring clean my old clothes, urrrghhhhh…..I hate it to the max~!! We always failed to arrange them neatly. Sometimes we couldn’t find the clothes we want to wear today or forgotten the clothes that we ever bought. That’s why we always think that we didn’t have enough clothes to wear.

I have been telling myself to spring clean the wardrobe starting from January till now, which month is it….AUGUST!!! *oh No~~~!!!* 8 months past and yet I am not taking any action. I am still loafing around during weekends, either lying dead on bed or my butt is glued on the chair. tsk tsk tsk. Shame on me!

My messy wardrobe has been a pain in my eyes and I have kept reminding myself to clean up this weekend then next weekend then next next weekend till today, I was failed to do so. A big SHAME on me! Sigh. So again, I told myself I NEED to do the spring clean this coming weekend or else no food for me! Just kidding. How can I not having any food? I would be dying of hunger~

Urrrghhh. Just thinking of it makes me goes limp. Who can help me?? *crying*
I didn’t feel well. Yeah, I am looking for an excuse again. =)

But really got to find a day to clear all those unwanted clothes or too small for me. *Ya, I have gained weight and my size has been changing from S to M….damn~* How could it be possible??!! *crying over the unacceptable facts* To comfort myself - those small size clothes are actually ten years back when I was still a bubbly young teenagers. It is normal for people to grow taller or wider due to some sort of metabolism or wider bone structure when the age is growing, right?

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

“No!” ~
“Caesar is coming home”
(Mimic Caesar’s dialogue in the film)
I was crying when Caesar said that to his pal and hugging him. It was so heart-warming scene. *sob*

I am going to freak out if there is a real talking ape. wtf. Not to mention their smartness and acted like a human. Well, the morale of the ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ is not to ill-treatment the animals and calls them ‘stupid’. Because they had feelings and one day, they might protest and strike at human. No one is stupid, even the animals/pets are not stupid.

Pretty good, I would say for this movie. At least, I think it was better than Captain America. The girl, Ms Freida Pinto, urghhhh….I didn’t really like her and glad that she also did not has much scenes in it. Pity her! Why I didn’t like her? Hmmm I think she’s not pretty and didn’t match with James Franco. Alright, I shouldn’t comment on people’s look. What if later she strikes at me, just like those apes?!! No bias, please. Okay, back to the business. James Franco who did an experiment on the chimpanzee is trying to formulate a cure for Alzheimer in order to heal his father. But this experiment had lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war between apes and human for supremacy.

The apes, I have to admit that although they were fiction/graphic illustration, they really looked so much like a human especially when Caesar is standing and staring at the ‘bad ass’ animal control officer and when they were having ‘apes’ meeting. A sudden thought strikes me that there’s a possibility we, human being, were transformed from the apes. No? My faith and religion is telling me that no, we are not transformed from the apes but created by the Almighty God. So forget what I think, okay~

Be hold. There would be a sequel. Hmmm I wonder how come nowadays the movies, most of them have sequels and left the audience in suspense. That’s how they are making profits, right? I am talking so much crap here. Typical me. So just get your butt to cinema and watch it! Trust me, you won't be wasting your time and money on this film. At least that's what I thought. (You know, different people will have different perspective and taste so if it waste your money and time, please don't blame me!)

-BabyHome-

After spending 3 days 2 nights in Taichung and Sun Moon Lake, we were heading back to Taipei. Honestly, I was quite exhausted from all the walking, climbing, carrying and riding. I just want to lie on bed and watched TV. But then, it was such a waste if I did that!

Again, we checked into BabyHome where we were staying from our last year trip to Taipei. Why? Because of its strategic location, friendly owner and clean, comfortable room equipped with all the necessities. But of course lar, we didn’t stayed in the same room as previous. We choose another room, a bit smaller which also located at the same building but different floor. I personally think the room is nice and I like it very much!

Needless to say, the room is equipped with washing machine, shampoo, towel, fan, air-cond, wifi, refrigerator, sofa, plasma TV, cabinet, security and etc. It is indeed a studio apartment which can accommodated up to 4 people. You just have to bring in your luggage and get yourself cozy in the room like in your own house. Where is it located?? Well, it is located just opposite of famous ‘Ah Chung Mian Sian’ in XiMenDing. Erm, 3-5 minutes walk to Ximen MRT Station. No worry that you couldn’t find the food or places to shop at night because you are just right in the middle of XiMenDing.

You stepped out of the building; you’ll see rows and rows of shops selling clothes, food, drinks and everyone’s favourite – 7-11 convenience shop. It was crowded with youngsters and tourists, of course. So I would advised that it’s better to stay in their specialty lodging, guesthouse, theme-style apartment or whatever name they called it when you travelled to Taiwan instead of staying at hotel. After all, Taiwan is popular with its specialty lodging. Price??? Almost the same with hotel’s price. Ranging from NT1300 – NT2500 per room and it depends on certain criteria. As for BabyHome, it costed us NT1550 for two person a room while last time was NT2200 for four person a room.

-Captain America-

Salute to Captain America! Yes, another 'hero' from the marvel comic. I wouldn't said it was super nice or super boring. I had to admit that there was a lot of talking which might bored some of you but that's the only way you could understand the whole story of 'Captain America'. The story took place in 1942 where America has entered a World War II. Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America was a skinny, little and 'malnutrition' youngster who wished to join the military and served for his country. Of course, he was being rejected due to his weak and sick body. Everything changes when he met Dr. Erksine who gave him a chance. A chance that changed his life and well, his body as well. His skinny and weak body was enhanced to ..........see the photos below. Drooling masculine hunk!!!

Wait, the story was not that boring actually. Although there's lots of talking in the first half, it added some humours and lightened you. The second half were getting pretty excited with the fighting against villain. Alright, still couldn't attracted you to watch it. Then you got to hear this, this movie was going to be linked to the coming blockbuster movie, 'The Avengers'. It is a team of Marvel superheroes such as Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor and who else....Ooopps, I forgot! Anyway, 'The Avengers' is definitely one of the most anticipated movie in 2012. Excited, excited!!

Another point, Captain America had a 'little' connection with Ironman. The scientist in Captain America was actually Tony Stark a.k.a. Ironman's father, Howard Stark. The shield used by Captain America was invented by Howard Stark. As for the ending of Captain America, you'll be surprised. Keeping you in suspense.....so that you'll get your butt to the cinema!

-Paper Dome, Puli-

Paper Dome?? You must be wondering what the heck it is. Well, Paper Dome is actually a small church and it was made of a some sort of good quality 'paper' and wood. Lame explanation, I know. I didn't know what paper they were using and how they build up the church. Aiikkss, in a simple way of explanation, it was actually considered as a 'green' or environmental friendly church.

I heard that there are only two Paper Dome in the world. One in Japan and another one, of course, in Puli, Taiwan. Puli is near to Sun Moon Lake, approximately 20 - 35 minutes ride on bike. It was rebuild by Japanese in rememberance and after massive 921 earthquake. Sort of like that. I just heard a little bit here and there. From their description and talk, I realized that this 921 earthquake had very much left a big impact on the Taiwanese.

Alright, since we have an extra time in Sun Moon Lake, we decided to head down to Puli and visited this Paper Dome as introduced in the tourist guide. The entrance fee is NT100, however, you could spend this NT100 in their gift shop or cafe. The scenery is beautiful with a small garden. The pond is full with water lily. I like it to the max!

TaiChung + Sun Moon Lake

From Taoyuan International Airport, we rode on the bus to High Speed Rail ('HSR') station at Taoyuan to change our next transportation to HSR which costed us NT540 per seat to reach Taichung in an approximately 45 minutes, if not wrong. The seats are comfortable and clean. Once reached Taichung HSR terminal, we took the shuttle bus to our hotel located at Feng Chia University a.k.a. Feng Chia Nightmarket.

The real headache was coming to us once we got off at Feng Chia University bus stop. See, we were in the middle of huge Feng Chia Nightmarket. It was crowded with people, motorbikes, cars and their cute pets (all kinds of breed dogs)!! We couldn't find Tomato Hotel (the direction given by the staff was confusing) so we just walked up and down the street, carrying the heavy luggages. After half an hour searching and calling, we FINALLY found Tomato Hotel! It was such a relief to see the hotel because I was damn tired from walking up and down and stood in the middle of the road where all the people and motorbikes passing by kept looking at us!

At night, we just walked around their famous and biggest nightmarket - Feng Chia. Next morning, we checked out Tomato Hotel and we rode on bus again to Sun Moon Lake from Taichung HSR station. After approximately one and a half hour ride on bus, we arrived at Sun Moon Lake. Pretty lake scenery! We seek help from the tourist information on the famous attractions and how to get there. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Information given also accurate and advised us to rent a bike for a day to save time and money, instead of taking bus!

Night at Sun Moon Lake was quiet with very few entertainment. Only the nearby area at Sun Moon Lake's pier was gathered with tourists and the tourists were entertained by the local natives' performance (singing and dancing) at the pier. Their local natives' culture fascinated me. A bit similar to our Sarawak's local natives.

- My triP tO tAiwaN-

It was my first time sleeping alone in the hotel! I was scared and worry. Fortunately, the rooms in Tune Hotel were small with so little space for you to move around. There's no more space for the 'ghost' to stay in there. The small room did made me felt more comfortable and less worry. But the noise from the people shutting the door, talking and walking at the corridor really annoying. I kept waking up by the noise out there!

Again, I felt proud of myself for being travelling alone, all the way from Sibu to Taiwan. I slept alone, took the bus alone, carrying the heavy luggage of mine and ate alone! I was getting mature and independent despite my "petite" body size. So after long queue for check in, I quickly went to grab a bite before boarding. I headed to McDonald's and ordered its breakfast set. I had an impression that McDonald's breakfast was not really that tasty after my last experience. Well, this time it really colored me surprise. The pancake and muffin taste good till I slowly enjoying my breakie without realizing that I was real late for boarding! I didn't finished my tea as it was so damn hot!

The international departure hall was quite far from McDonald's and need to take the escalator up and down. Somemore, need to stop for security checking. Oh my goodness, I was hastened by the airasia staff! There's another long walk to reach the plane. The plane was 'parking' so damn far away. Catching my breath once inside the plane, I felt grateful and at the same time, embarrassed as all the passengers were looking at me. Halo, I was not the only one late! There're some people also late and were running behind me as well. It delayed the plane took off. Mostly because there's a queue and air traffic congestion.

After 5-hours 'ass-pain' ride, I reached Taoyuan International Airport safe and sound. A bit nervous to meet my dear while felt excited for my trip!
