25 weeks

Times flies and I am already 25 weeks pregnant.
2nd trimester is really a baby-moon for me. I am feeling more like the old me except carrying a belly bump.
But now I started to feel tired and sleepy again. I feel heavy to move around.

I couldn't have a proper sleep at nights as I kept on having nightmares or weird dreams or I just woke up all of a sudden. My eyes just popped open without a reason. I read from the web articles stating that it is normal to have weird dreams/nightmares during pregnancy due to the hormones level or something.
I can feel Little Star moving and kicking inside me especially in the wee hours. Is it normal for baby to move more actively in the wee hours instead of day time? I don't feel much movement during day time. That's kinda worry me.

Okay, I was kinda paranoid with anxiety and fear for Little Star when I had a sudden abdominal pain (that is because of the expansion of uterus as told by people around me), or when I had a blood in my nose or when I didn't feel the fetal movement or when people telling me that my belly is small for 6 months pregnancy and etc. I was scaring myself. Blame it on the pregnancy hormones then.

A folklore says you will know you married the right man during pregnancy. And yes, I know I have married the right man. Hubby is understanding and kind enough to do all the house chores, cook breakfast/supper for me and massage my sore legs. So I am being treated like a Queen now. I quite enjoyed the moment being pampered by his love and care. But I didn't know this will last or not after I deliver. Anyway, I believe he will be a good dad.

Little Star, although you are not born with a 'gold spoon in your mouth' but you have daddy and mummy's love. We try our best to provide you a good environment and give you lots of care and love. We'll try to give you the best. We hope you'll be a good and kind person when you grow up. Do remember take care of your daddy and mummy. And we hope that you'll be a happy kid. May God bless you!

5 Months!

It feels like a yesterday when I was first found out that I am pregnant. 

Shocked and unbelievable were my first reaction!

Totally didn't expected it. My hubby was even more shocked when I broke the news to him. 

Whole night pestering me, asking me "Is it true? Is it real? Really that I am pregnant? No joke and bla bla..."

I shoved him the picture of ultrasound scan and pregnancy test stick in his face to tell him that it was real and no joke! 

Okay, my worries started. I started to worry this and that. But now, I am more calm and started to enjoy the every stages of my pregnancy although I was struck with morning sickness like bloating, vomiting, sleepy and tiredness in the first trimester. It's not that serious till need to be hospitalized but all those morning sickness really makes me felt 'sick' and 'weak' for whole day. After entering the 2nd trimester, it is a relieve that finally, all those sickness have subsided. I feel like the old me. Sometimes even forget that I am pregnant. 

Everything is normal except that I have gained some kilos. Even the doctor advised me to control my weight and to have a balance diet. I totally understand and I have been doing that since the first day I found out I am pregnant but the weight just keep on rising. Is out of my control. Unless I stopped eating but that's not the solution, right. Hmph! 

We decided to name the fetus, "Little Star" first as we can't give him name yet. In Chinese, 'Little' is pronounce as 'Xiao', also known as small and 'Star' is pronounce as 'Xing', almost the same pronunciation of my hubby's last name. Besides, it is like a wishing star which has makes our wish comes true. So we called the fetus, "Xiao Xing Xing". Hello, my little star~

Sea Woman In Jeju

'Haenyo', literally meaning sea woman or female diver is famously found in Jeju, Korea. As told by the tour guide, there are only two countries have haenyo today. One is in Korea and another in Japan. However, the sea woman in Japan tends to retire earlier in the age while the average age of sea woman in Korea is around 90 years old and only the elderly woman in Jeju becomes a sea woman to earn for their living. The sea woman becomes a breadwinner on the island while their man would stay at home, taking care of the house and children. Because of the hard work and feeding on the horse's meat/bones, the sea woman in Jeju tends to live longer and healthier than the sea woman in Japan.

The elderly woman plunges into the cold sea, disappear for minutes and return to the surface with their captures such as octopus, sea urchin, seaweed and shellfish. Quite interesting to learn the fact on sea woman.

We bought some of their captures for an amount of 50,000 won, estimated around RM200 and ate freshly on the spot. My dad and brother said that it was considered cheap already. If ate in Malaysia, it will cost more than that.

Sleep Like a Korean

Annyeong!

Visiting to Korea is like a dream comes true to me. 

Korea is in my list of 'Must-Visit' Countries in this lifetime. 

If there is a chance, I would like to go to Korea again. I love their country, people as well as their culture and food. 

Anyway, one of the experience I tried when in Korea was slept like the Korean - 'Ondol' which is a underfloor heating. Often saw in the K-drama but now I had the chance to sleep like them. Pretty cool! Honestly, it was not comfortable at all. I still prefer to sleep on the bed with a thick mattress. Getting up from the mattress on the floor is another problem even for a young people like us, not to mention the elders.

My phone still in a place, without a sound.

Thought my phone was malfunctioning.

The waiting process was torturing.

Swore that would never waited for your call anymore
It's hard being left behind...but it's hard to be the one who stays.

But still I am waiting….and waiting.

Waiting is one of the most miserable occupation.
Waiting for that life I thought I would have.
Waiting to become something else.
Waiting to be that person I always thought I was on the verge of becoming...one day.
And God knows when is that one day coming or maybe there's never have that one day.

Isn't it looks pretty with the orange and purplish sky?

My hometown, Sibu is consider a small town but geographical wise, it is big.
Not much attractions. No mega mall. No theme parks. No GSC.
However, we have the varieties of scrumptious local food and interesting local natives, Iban.
The long houses. Rejang River. Their traditions and culture.

Many people says Sibu is going to become a 'retirement' town. Why?
Because most of the youngsters have left the town to explore the world out there, hoping to look for a better opportunities.
