Bamboo House is a coffee house in Premier Hotel, Sibu. Due to the heat market competition, they finally decided to renovate their coffee house in order to provide a cozy and relaxed ambience. Well, their strategy seems working as the tables are quite occupied with customers for their leisure drink or business talk. They even extended their coffee house to have an open air tables! That's for smokers.

Me and my dear went there on the eve of Valentine's Day. We decided to try out their new menu and new ambience. Well, quite nice and comfortable. But the food, hmmmmmm.....no comment, but okay lar, edible and nice. Not that bad till can't stuffed into the mouth! The price was quite reasonable as per hotel rate.

My dear's bolognaise spaghetti. He commented that for the first few bites, still taste good but the more he ate the more he felt nauseate due to the rich bolognaise sauce and cheese.


Ta-da~ This is my black pepper chicken chop. The taste is okay but I prefer either grilled or thigh meat. They are giving me a breast meat which really unacceptable! I didn't like the side dishes. Too many veges!! I know it's healthy but still....yuccckkk!!

-My Princess-

I am going to bore you with another Korean drama – ‘My Princess’. My Princess was a light-hearted, humorous and romance drama with a good looking and pretty cast. Do you know who the main cast was???? They are the most perfect and pretty couple – Song Seung Hun, the handsome hunk and Kim Tae Hee, the natural beauty lady. Yup, they are the charm of this drama.

The plot was about an ordinary college student casted by Kim Tae Hee, found out that she’s actually the princess. The grandson of Daehan Group, casted by Song Seung Hun, was put in charge of educating the princess on proper etiquette while he also acting as her personal bodyguard. You’ll know where the story is going to lead to..... ROMANCE! Yeah, they started to fall in love with each other and don’t worry, it was not another ‘love, or not to love’ boring storyline. They did confess to each other and they showed their affection to each other as well. So that’s made them a very sweet and cute couple. Really really love Song Seung Hun!!! He’s looks adorable and handsome in the drama. I want such a handsome guardian as well.


There is even a comment saying that the story is making no sense and it is only exploiting the popularity of Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee. Well, Mr. or Ms Audience, you are right but that’s what the script writer is trying to make sense here. I believed that the script writer is trying to bring a light-hearted with a touch of romance to meet audiences’ demand and their entertainment as well. We just want to watch a drama that can put a smile on our face and to entertain us. Besides, the cast and producer are not participating in Oscar or targeting for a serious plot like fighting, killing or frightening scene. So what the hell are you watching it if you are looking for a serious drama plot?

Really annoyed with those nonsense comments!!

Again, I want to remind that this drama is definitely not recommended for guys unless you are interested or would like to go for a change for a light-hearted and romance drama. But girls, what are you waiting for??!!! Quickly go download or watch it on PPS.

Do yOu like my New blOg templAte?

I spend almost 2 hours to change my blog template, the fonts and color.
Due to the rising issue on global warming, it was wise to think green and creating an awareness about the need to go green. You can see everywhere whether on advertisement, corporate image or branding concept, the word 'GREEN' will never be missed. There you goes, I choose green as well to show my support in 'go green' concept. Most importantly, I love green!! ^.^

To my surprise, the blogspot's template actually has offered variety of fonts from the web, which are quite unique and cute. I like that to the max!!! I played around with the fonts and colors and deep in thought of choosing which fonts and colors. That's why it nearly took me 2 hours to complete the template. In the end, I try to make my fonts and colors looked "read-able" and pleasant to the reader's eyes.

-Aren't Us Feel Grateful fOr StayiNg in Malaysia?-

Another natural disaster.
Another earthquake took place.
The death toll was on the rise again.
I think we really made the earth angry, or else why is he throwing temper there?
His temper really killed a lot of people and caused a major destruction.

He was like giving us a warning that we really should protect the earth and prevent him from getting angry again.
Each time reading those news reporting on the natural diasters that happened,
it's sadden me.
Watching Japan's 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami footage on YouTube, only one word to describe my feeling - 'Scary'. Here's come another tsunami after tsunami 2004. Tsunami 2004 was the first natural diaster that really shaken me and made me realized that natural diaster was a real serious thing. Till today, I still couldn't believe that how come the waves could go up to four - five storey high. Tsunami scared me the most.

By looking at those news on the disasters took place, all of a sudden I felt grateful to stay in Malaysia, except those political and government issues. At least, Malaysia is free from natural disasters....at the moment, I think. I always want to stay at other countries, but not in Malaysia because I thought the world out there is much much much better than here. But now I have a second thought.

-Italian Coffee-

'Italian Coffee' is a place for you to gather with friends for a drink and chit-chatting. The ambience is nice and quiet with a soft music playing at the background. It was once my favourite hang out spot. You must be wondering why I said 'once'. Once, I have went there almost every nights. Now I only go there once in a blue moon. Mainly because no one accompany me and besides, they no longer updated their magazines rack. Italian Coffee is originally a wine parlour but due to the slow selling of wines, they transformed it into a coffee parlour. They sell two types of coffee beans, Lavazza and Arabica. Difference? No idea. But heard that Lavazza coffee bean tastes better.

Their drinks are not cheap either, ranging from RM5.90 - RM11.90 per cup/glass coming in regular and large size which are up to your choice. Despite of its price, the drinks and pastries taste good. By hearing the name, of course, coffees are their main selling products. Too bad that I don't drink coffees. So usually I will ordered their ice-blended chocolate or green tea with whipped cream. I suggested they should come out with more non-coffee drinks. Hmmmm..alright, is not my business~


Cappuccino. My dear's favourite. He is coffee drinker while I am tea drinker. See, we are totally opposite.


Hot chocolate. When came to hot drink, hot chocolate is my only choice.


Espresso. I called it the king of coffee. Out of my curiousity, I take a sip and oh my goodness, it tastes so bitter!! Now I am wondering how come my dear can stand the bitter taste. Hmph!

-I am NumBer FoUr-

'I am Number Four' is another action hero movie with great powers to fight off the bad guys. The bad guys are some sort of aliens from other planet wanting the power to control the earth. So the bad guys are hunting down those 'Numbers' guys and killed them to acquire their powers.

Oh wow, I love their powers! It seems pretty cool especially Number 6's power. She is fire proof and somemore she moves real fast. John a.k.a Number Four is masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student who then met this sweet girl, Sarah and fall in love with her. I like her collection of cameras. Awesome! However, I still think she needs to polish her acting skill especially the face expression.

I am not fancy with the Number Four's power. His blue lighting hands look cool. Needless to say, his power is just being very 'powerful'.


Still lack of chemistry between them. Something is missing but not sure what is it. Surprisingly, I find their romance is quite lame in the movie. Looks fake to me! Generally, I still love and enjoy the movie though. Hope that it will be a sequel for it because by looking at the ending, I believe there is.
