-Love is Never Ugly-

Beastly was a romance fantasy film based on Alex Flinn's novel and it was actually retelling of the fairytale Beauty and the Beast set in modern day. I was attracted to the film because of its title and romance story. I like this kind of paranormal or fantasy romance. However, this film was a disappointment. Hmmm I would blame it on the cast and maybe director.

Alex Pettyfer is good looking even though he looked like a beast with those ugly scars on his face, I still think he is a handsome hunk! I would fell in love with him too even though he looked ugly. The way he protected and care for the girl. I was envious. As mentioned previously, Alex Pettyfer was still inexperienced and need to polish his acting skill. He's good but still lacked of something. Same went to Vanessa Hudgens. The love sparks between them was weak. Somemore they were not compatible at all. Vanessa is kinda petite and I think she doesn't look pretty at all while Alex is tall and mature. So it spoiled the film! Sigh. I really love the story. Despite all that, Beastly was actually a nice film and I believed it could do better.

Okay. The story was actually about Kyle Kingsbury (Alex Pettyfer), a popular, wealthy, handsome and arrogant high school student. He disrespected a classmate, Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen) who was actually a witch in diguise. So she casted a spell on Kyle with a term that he had to find a girl who love him until the next spring or else he's gonna stayed a beast forever. So the arrogant Kyle met the kind and loving girl, Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens). There you goes, the romance sparkled between them (which I personally think not so great and touching) and suddenly, Lindy said she loves him after Kyle avoided her because Kyle thought that Lindy only treated him as a good friend. And then all the curse gone and Kyle was back to his handsome look. The ending, yes, they kissed.

So if you are extremely bored and looking for a relaxing film without those gruesome bloody killing scenes or the loud car bangs, firegun and scared the hell out of you movie, then you can really, really watched this film on your weekend.

-Green Lantern-

I hate to admit but yeah, I was going after Ryan Reynolds. But I did pay to watch his flaunting muscular and nicely work out body. lOlz...He's a real hunky!

Okay, stopped drooling over the man's body. Green Lantern was another typical super hero movie except that this green lantern was not a blockbuster movie like other manga stories e.g. spiderman, ironman or superman. But it was not that bad as commented by most people. The storyline, well, as expected was another super hero tried to save the world from a bad ass villain. His green power was amazingly cool. But his green hero suit was kinda 'sissy', don't you think so? Especially the mask. Eeewww~

I just found it weird to have those alien from other planets and the ET-look guardians. Hmmm I neither read its comic nor heard of green lantern so totally had no idea about the whole story of this green lantern superhero. I expected it to be something like spiderman, ironman, superman or the hulk kinda story. I was like pondering what the hell is this movie about when those aliens and ET-look guardians appeared. The big smoke ET/Octopus-look villain, not to mention, too easy to get annihilated and not scary enough. What scared me was the human ET-look bad ass villain. Man, he looked like a real psycho! He played his evil psycho role quite well as it did successfully send a chill down my spine. I believed not only me but to most of the girls. Even my cousin shrieked in the cinema! lOlz...no kidding.

Another credit went to Blake Lively. She is a lovely girl however the chemistry between her and Ryan was weak. No sparkles or very very romance till it touched our heart. After all, green lantern was not about romance so forget the part. Overall, I would give 3/5 star to this film for its CGI and the film was quite entertaining. It's not that boring but if you were expecting more from this film then you'll going to be disappoint. So don't!

-sNow Ice-

Recently having too much ice-cream and thanks to the hot weather!

I was drinking cold drinks or else ice-cream/snow ice almost everyday. Oh no, that would affect my menstrual cycle....seriously!!!

iGlool is actually a local franchise of snow ice. Well, the business is extremely good especially on this hot and humid weather. See, I am one of their loyal customer. The price is quite reasonable, ranging from RM4.00-RM5.50 per cup.

Strawberry flavor with magic ball. Isn't it a horrible sight?? Like a blood and the magic ball looks like an egg or something scary.

Chocolate flavor with peanuts.

Pink!

I was fanatic to the Pink color in these recent years. Maybe now I want to be more 'girlish'. *Shrug* No idea. Basically, my favourite color is green - the color of nature. Then I like to wear a black color shirt and I have a blue color room. But now I love Pink!

Everything in Pink color really attracted my attention and I must have one!.....

When Pink meets Chocolate........It's a fattening snack!!

How's the taste of the Pink drink?? Hmmm actually I had bought this and put in my fridge for a certain period but I not yet drink it. The Pink is too pretty to be drink! =) Surely, it tastes like a grapefruit because it says so on the bottle label there.

Self-Examination!

I admitted that I was a terrible girlfriend a.k.a. wife. I didn’t know what had gotten into me because my emotion was like riding a roller coaster. It was up and down in a minute without my realization. It sucks! I know. I had been trying so hard to control my emotion from breaking loose like a mad dog but to no avail. Just one simple matter or a word could trigger my emotion outburst.

Okay, so what’s wrong with me? I had been feeling guilty each time I lost my temper. I hate myself because this was not ‘me’ at all. I also tried to self-examination on why I am acting like this and what went wrong with me. Here are the possibilities.

First possibility might due to the loneliness. I was alone and lonely most of the time. It made me become a ‘selfish’ girl because I could only think of myself. I did it my own way. I went on my own way. I didn’t have to think of others. I seldom talked to people plus with the technology today, people seem not to use their mouth but fingers to communicate. See, people nowadays are using whatsapp, bbm, facebook-ing and other social media to communicate.

Another possible reason was I withdrew from socializing....not completely, just getting less. Okay, I blamed it on the age again. When my age is growing, I become more individualism. I hate socializing. I dislike crowd. I hate the loud noise – some people intended to talk loud or laugh out loud or faking a laugh although is not funny at all. I dislike talking to people especially strangers.

Third, my insecurity and low self-esteem. Surprisingly, yeah it is. I was lack of insecurity and had a very little confidence in myself. This reality world made me felt so insecure and scared. Again, I blamed it on the age. Growing age, more or less, has a little bit to do with my confidence and insecurity. Aren’t people will gradually fencing up or hiding in their own comfortable zone to prevent themselves from getting hurt when they felt insecure? Like protecting ourselves? The most feasible example, a tortoise.

Fourth, my boyfriend a.k.a. hubby. He is a good man but not a good lover, I can say. I was fine when I was not talking to him or when he’s not around me. He does have a great influence on my emotion. Some sort of ‘unseen-able’ power, I think. Alright, I do love him. I miss him too. But I was acting like a mad girlfriend who spoiled every moment and starting the quarrel whenever we talked or seeing each other. He really got on my nerves even though he kept silent and not doing anything. I know, I know. I was wrong. I felt guilty too.

Last but not least, the darkness of my past. Whatever the past experiences were haunting me. I could forgive but I could not forget. The scar that left behind was burning on my skin. It kept reminded me of the pain. Although sometimes I tried to shrug off and forget, a series of all the past incidents kept flashing back to me. I was struggling between the light and darkness. I was wrestling with myself everyday to forget. Am I pushing myself too far? Wondering what were the past that I was talking about? Believe me, there’s nothing glory to show or bring it out to people. The past had turned me to who-I-am today. Both good and bad.

The whole thing sound ridiculous, right? Even he is saying that I was crazy and suggest me to consult a doctor. That’s really hurt me because he is supposed to be the one who will understand me, protect me or trust me. Sigh. So is my brain wire really gone wrong??? Should I really consult a doctor or receiving some kind of therapy??

Relax, man! I am totally fine. Perfectly normal except my emotion went wrong, at times. See, I did self-examined but the problem is, how to solve? I can’t find any solution to prevent myself not to go haywire. All these should not be revealed here because it was like getting naked in front of the public. I didn’t care anymore as I desperately need a place to express my feelings. (see, this is what they say IT World~)

I am still finding the LIGHT and preventing myself from falling into the dark tunnel.

Conclusion is I phailed ..... as a girlfriend a.k.a. wife. I phailed in managing my relationship. I phailed.....for not being a loving person.

Just forget everything I said here! It's all bullshitting~ o(^.^)o

Bought it for my dear. He loves Hiyawu's novel while I only started to notice the author after reading one of his novel. His writing skill has impressed me.

I believed I am

a dullard to the people around me because I like to talk about books or buying books as a gift. Once, a friend of mine asked me why am I like to buy books for them. That friend has helped to voice out the disfavour. Guess they were pretty upset and bored with my interest. Alright, I got the message and stopped my practice ....! Ouch! It supposed to be my sincerity and I just want to share something knowledgeable or useful to them. But they did not appreciated it. That's pretty hurt me! Orhh, another thing they didn't like - Photo frame. What's wrong with photo frame anyway?! Hmmm, till today I still don't get it. So I stopped buying all that. In fact, I stopped giving present unless a situation that really required me to do so and it's going to take me days or weeks to come out with an 'ideal' present. Pretty hard to satisfy or meet other people's need.

My point is actually it had been a long long long time I stopped buying novel or book for people and dear, you make me want to buy this for you. A long lost enthusiasm rushing back to me as well as those 'unpleasant' memories. Hope you'll like it and that I didn't bore you............~

-Pirates of the Caribbean 4-

I went to watch 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - On Stranger Tides' yesterday alone, specifically. The film was long, approximately 3 hours. Imagine sitting in the cinema alone for 3 hours. Hmmmm but I am quite comfortable and enjoy the moment with myself. Nahhh, it's not that awkward like first time.

Alright, although there was Captain Jack Sparrow and as always still charming, cheeky and funny YET I missed 'Will Turner' and 'Elizabeth Swann' characters. Orh, the Black Pearl. It did appeared in the movie. Was in a miniature size being trapped inside the bottle.

The most catchy part in Pirates 4 was the mermaids. Oh my, they looked so pretty and somehow I think they were quite cool with its fish tails flapping behind. They looked like a piranha when they turned from an angelic, sweet look to an 'evil' look while attacking the men. Don't you think so?

Gemma Ward. She looks so innocent and pretty. I like her.

Afterall, POTC4 was an enjoyable movie because there was a Captain Jack Sparrow or Johnny Depp. So without Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, the plot was still entertaining but it was lack of excitement if compared to previous POTCs. Except the mermaids part.
